Franka Robotics · Industrial · 2021
The Franka Hand is the native two-finger parallel electric gripper for the Franka Research 3 arm — fully integrated into Franka's software so it works plug-and-use with Desk Apps and the libfranka API, no separate driver or controller. It offers an 80 mm stroke and roughly 70 N continuous grip force, with interchangeable fingertips that adapt to different object shapes and materials, making it the default end effector for the research and assembly tasks the FR3 platform targets. As part of Franka's Apps ecosystem, gripping actions drop into visual workflows for rapid behaviour prototyping.
