The Flexiv Rizon 4s is the high-sensitivity variant of the Rizon 4 adaptive robot, adding a 6-DoF flange-mounted force/torque sensor on top of the series' torque sensing in all seven joints. The result is 0.03 N force sensing accuracy — sensitivity Flexiv describes as surpassing human touch — enabling multi-contact force control for delicate work like FPC/FFC insertion and micro-component placement where end-effector feedback is critical. It keeps the 4 kg payload while extending reach to 919 mm (21 kg mass, ±0.05 mm ISO 9283 repeatability, 150 N max TCP force), retains IP65 protection with any-angle or AMR/AGV mounting, and shares the series' ISO 13849 PL=d dual-channel safety architecture with CE & ETL certification. Control runs through the Hesper controller with Flexiv Elements visual programming, hand-guided teaching, and the C++/Python RDK, with official ROS bridges available.
