The Flexiv Grav Enhanced is a two-in-one force-controlled gripper that operates in two grasping modes: a precision two-finger force-control pinch (P-mode) for small items like M1 bolts and coins, and a gecko-inspired superfriction grasp (V-mode) whose passive adhesive film lifts objects up to 5 kg — basketballs, magnums, boxes, sneakers — with minimal squeezing force and no vacuum pumps or energy input. Built on the Grav's single-driver, composite-sensor architecture with sub-gram force sensing, it can hold a water balloon without rupture yet handle mixed-SKU pallet loads, making it a genuine multi-role end effector that cuts tool-change frequency. IP67-rated, ISO/TS 15066 compliant and rated for tens of millions of cycles, it mounts plug-and-play on Flexiv's universal socket (standard cobots supported) and pairs with the automated Cleaning Station (April 2024) that restores the gecko film's grip after dusty handling. Control is via Flexiv Elements primitives, the Grav UI, or Modbus RTU Official specs: 52 mm stroke per jaw, 1 N force-control accuracy, 1–200 mm/s gripping speed, 0.1 mm finger repeatability, 1 kg unit weight (211×180×84 mm in V-mode, 211×210×84 mm in P-mode), −20 to +45 °C, ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 interface.
