The FANUC CRX-5iA is the entry model of FANUC's CRX collaborative family — 5 kg payload, 994 mm reach, ±0.03 mm repeatability from a 25 kg arm light enough to install without a crane. Like every CRX it carries FANUC's signature reliability claim: 8 years of zero maintenance, backed by the company's industrial track record. Built-in torque sensing in every joint gives sensitive contact detection for fenceless ISO 10218-1 collaboration, and programming is deliberately novice-friendly — drag-and-drop icons on the Tablet Teach Pendant plus lead-through teaching, running on the compact R-30iB Mini Plus controller from standard single-phase power. Two J6 connection ports quick-change end-of-arm tooling, and the FANUC ecosystem (iRVision, force sensors, ROBOGUIDE simulation, ROS-Industrial) plugs straight in. A food-grade variant adds NSF-H1 grease, white epoxy paint and rust/chemical-resistant plating.
