The Doosan E0509 is the world's first collaborative robot built exclusively for the food & beverage industry — the sole model of Doosan's E-Series, a 6-axis 5 kg / 900 mm cobot with ±0.05 mm repeatability that is engineered around hygiene rather than adapted from a factory arm. Its NSF (US food-grade) certification and IP66 rating let operators wash it down and maintain hygiene without robot jackets or added equipment, and it ships in a box two-thirds the size of previous Doosan cobots for easy transport and install in cafés, kiosks and food counters. Purpose-built for repeatable service motions — it can pour a hand-drip coffee like a barista (three cups in 15 seconds), handle timing-sensitive cooking steps, and serve — it runs Doosan's DART-Platform software (graphical programming, DRL, Python) on a rugged real-time controller, with TÜV SÜD-certified collision detection for fenceless operation and official ROS/ROS 2 drivers.
