The DENSO COBOTTA PRO 900 is the smaller of DENSO's high-speed PRO cobots — 6 kg payload, 900 mm reach, ±0.03 mm repeatability and a 2,100 mm/s TCP speed that puts it on par with 5- and 6-axis industrial robots during high-speed operation (the larger PRO 1300 pushes 12 kg and 2,500 mm/s). Its productivity-and-safety balance comes from proprietary high-rigidity torque sensors on lightweight slim axes for continuous torque/speed/area monitoring, plus a distinctive touch-sensing soft cover — silicon cushioning with embedded high-sensitivity contact sensors — that further cuts collision risk; with an added safety scanner it can safely ramp to industrial speeds when no one is near. DENSO reworked direct teaching so complex precision tasks like assembly can be memorised by track and fine-tuned to 0.1 mm, and paired it with a Blockly visual environment so novices can build high-precision applications. Pneumatic and I/O wiring route internally to the flange. NOTE: reach recorded as 900 mm per model designation; some aggregators list 1066 mm — flagged for datasheet confirmation.
