Boston Dynamics · Quadruped · 2011
A DARPA-funded (Maximum Mobility and Manipulation program) research quadruped that set the legged-robot land-speed record, hitting 45 km/h on a laboratory treadmill. Tethered and boom-stabilised, with an articulated spine that flexed each stride to extend its gallop. Its untethered successor was WildCat.
