Baykar · Drones · 2021
Baykar's flagship high-altitude, long-endurance unmanned combat aircraft (Bayraktar Akinci), a much larger sibling to the TB2. It's a twin-turboprop design - typically 450 hp AI-450T engines (with PD-170 and TP-395 variants) - spanning about 20 m with a ~12.2 m length and ~5,500 kg max takeoff weight, able to carry roughly 1,350 kg of payload across six hardpoints (internal and external). Published figures give it about 40,000 ft service ceiling, 24+ hours of endurance and ~361 km/h top speed. It runs AI-supported, triple-redundant avionics with satellite (beyond-line-of-sight) datalinks, can mount an AESA radar and EO/IR sensors, and carries precision-guided munitions and stand-off missiles for combined ISR and strike roles. In service with Turkey and exported to several operators.
