Anduril Industries · Drones · 2021
Anduril's first drone: a soldier-portable, single-rotor helicopter-style VTOL small UAS built for quiet, modular ISR, targeting and force protection at the tactical edge. Running at low rotor speed for a near-silent acoustic signature, the ~17 kg Ghost 4 carries modular payloads — a Trillium EO/IR gimbal plus optional SIGINT, EW and radar — swappable in seconds, and is driven by Anduril's Lattice AI core (~3.2 TOPS) that enables full autonomy, sub-one-hour operator training, swarming and automatic 'battlefield handover' between aircraft for persistent coverage. Sold in pairs and packable in a backpack or Pelican case, two Ghosts give one operator round-the-clock ISR. The upgraded Ghost-X (2023) adds dual batteries, a tandem-rotor layout, vision-based GPS-denied navigation and far greater payload.
