Amazon Robotics · AGV/AMR · 2022
Amazon's first fully autonomous mobile robot, built to operate in the same open floor space as employees rather than caged areas. It autonomously lifts and moves wheeled GoCarts of packages through fulfillment and sort centers, projecting a green light ahead and stopping if a person steps into its path. Named after a moon of Neptune; used internally across Amazon's network (not sold commercially).
